The BritHikesOntario YouTube Channel is a loss-making endeavour.

Did you know, YouTube pays us less than 1c per view?

Because we are making birding videos, our audience size will always be quite limited. The only reason we are able to keep going (and try to create a series of videos where we try to find 5,000 birds) is because we have a membership program. We are truly grateful to our members. They keep the channel going and stop us from relying on sponsorship that we feel would harm the vibe of the channel.

The best way to support us is by becoming a member. But we understand that not everybody wants to pay a monthly or annual recurring fee.
